We are delighted to be able to include the song "Peace for your Christmastime" in our episode on Friendship at the Holidays. We're very grateful to talented Colorado couple who wrote and perform the song, Dave and Tara Powers , for the permission to use it.

What prompted us to include this song was the realism of the lyrics, which touch our own experience at what should be a Joyous and peaceful time of year.

For many people at this time of year -- particularly at what may be a time of fear and uncertainty about the future of our country, these lyrics hit home, managing to couch our anxieties in a context of peace and love.
